Wonderful

It was worth the money. Overall experience was great. Very attentive staff that accomodated all our requests. Have decorated our room with festive balloons. Location is convenient, lots of restaurants around. The beach is affected by tides but this doesnt bother much.

Absolutely perfect location-next to the ocean that looks like on every postcard! Food on restaurant was fabulous. And Marleen with her staff (especially on restaurant) was class of itself - haven't seen a long time so happy and kind persons who dancing even during the work time! They do everything they can to be sure that client is happy! This is the place where You want to go back!

Very comfortable beach house complex (fantastic massages too)

Very comfortable beach house complex. Very responsive and helpful staff. Lots of lounge areas, with two pools including a small infinity one to watch the beach from. Good beachside restaurant. They can arrange tours for you. Last but not least - the massage (by Teddy) was amazing!

I wish there was one more bar inside the complex besides the beachside restaurant. Also - the complex is relatively big, so not as private as some other places nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We love cats and there were a few at the resort which was a pleasure. The sea is right next to the hotel, that is, if the tide is not low.

Best hotel of are month stay in Africa

When arriving to the hotel I had injured myself as soon as I arrived they called a dr who come straight out to see me the whole stay all the staff was looking out for me and so welcoming thank you loved are stay we even loooked into extending are stay but unfortunately it was fully booked would recommed. This hotel xx

Great stay in Paje beach

Staff were excellent and accommodating. Managed to get rooms close together eventually despite initially being apart. Very friendly. Eager to carry bags to room. Great pool area and loved the infinity pool! Good quality food and good atmosphere on Monday nights with the live music.

Pool table was out of action for a while and not in good condition. Some of the bins from our room were emptied by cleaning staff over the wall into an adjacent public area behind room T3. Not good for the environment and we were shocked to see this. This was the only negative of our stay as Zula on the whole provided a superb stay for our family.

Great hotel, location and staff. A must in Paje.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, staff and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything had been thought of from the water dispenser in the lobby meaning we weren't spending a fortune on water every day to the rooms which included USB plugs, really good air con and super comfy beds. The pool area and hotel grounds are great, the breakfast which was included was fantastic and the built in restaurant was wonderful with great staff. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It is also in the best location on the beach. You have to stay here.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It is also very suitable for a longer stay.

We were very satisfied with everything at Zula. 10/10 and highly recommend. In a beautiful location, right on Paje beach. Very tasty breakfast. The staff was wonderful. We felt like at home. Thank you very much. Asante sana!

good relax for stay

staff are very nice and friendly. view from room was amazing. large private hotel area only for hotel guests and tours from Hotel was good and not too expensive. pool waa clean and they do cleaning. They take a care of all area if something gets dirty.

it was raining all mornings and cloudy :D but that was not normal weather and hotel do not have nothing with that. but at same time it was mice experience to see tropic storm from balkon.

Wonderful stay at Zula

Our stay at Zula was wonderful. Right at the beautiful beach. Clean ocean without algae, sandy bottom. A small private "beach" where no beach boy will come to you. Breakfast very tasty, served. Juice, you can choose from a small menu - how you want eggs, pancakes, they have great sausages, fruit. All staff very helpful, smiling. Bindi especially stuck in our minds! The hotel offers free refilling of cold drinking water at the reception to your own bottle. When you see the plastic waste everywhere, you really appreciate it. We had a room on the floor above reception, with the most amazing ocean view we ever had. It was spacious, clean and very quiet. The air conditioning worked in the evenings, otherwise a ceiling fan was available.

What they can really work on is the breakfast package. We were leaving at 4am so we asked for it. They postponed the delivery time three times in the late evening that the kitchen is busy. OK. But then you will find one "bun", Nutella in a foil pocket and a piece of fruit in the package :D The bed in the room is quite high, we are not the smallest, but we had to jump up on our tiptoes to sit down, it might be inconvenient for some. The pool - it is maintained, regularly cleaned, but I think it would be worth training with chemistry. It had a constant milky tinge and smelled a lot of chlorine - from my own experience, this is how my pool behaves when I don't adjust the PH. I preferred not to use it, but it didn't hurt, with such a wonderful ocean! Being with children would be a bit of a complication. But these are really just details, otherwise the stay was really great!

We had a truly relaxing stay at Zula Zanzibar. The location was absolutely stunning, right on a pristine stretch of beach with breathtaking views and easy access for morning walks or evening sunsets.
